Elan created a new structure in Melbourne in October 2024 in partnership with French entrepreneur Daniel Airoldi, who has been active in the Australian wine business for more than 15 years. Within a few months, AWS obtained all necessary licenses (wholesale, retail and events) and recruited an efficient team (sales, back office, finance) to start distribution in April 2025.

Leveraging Daniel Airoldi’s experience and network, as well as Elan’s reputation and multiple partnerships with prestigious suppliers in other countries, AWS succeeded in building a strong and coherent product portfolio from day one. In less than a year, AWS has achieved coverage of all major cities, with sales representatives based in Melbourne, Brisbane and Sydney. AWS operates in all channels, with a clear focus on on-trade, Corporate and Private clients and regularly organizes prestigious private dinners with the support of renowned Bordeaux Grands Crus Estates and other premium producers.
