KWS was one of the first companies to import fine wines and spirits into Kazakhstan after the country’s independence. Since then, it has consolidated its position as one of the undisputed leaders in the premium wines and spirits segment, with outstanding penetration across all channels. The company has a dominant national footprint, operating from five offices in the major cities of Almaty, Astana, Karaganda, Aktau and Pavlodar, and a distribution presence in more than 16 cities.
KWS manages an enviable portfolio that covers almost all product segments and includes some of the most prestigious and powerful global brands.
Since 2019, KWS has opened five specialized shops in Almaty and Astana under the “BRUT” banner and is preparing to open additional shops in the coming years. BRUT is also a leading player in the online delivery segment, supported by two dedicated platforms in Almaty and Astana.
Sergey Nikolayev, a shareholder of Elan, has been the General Manager of KWS for more than fifteen years.
